The official way to change MSCRM ports

Finally Microsoft have released a support article which details how to change the MSCRM web site ports correctly. This also fixes the workflow doesn’t work et al issues (see here). This is great to have, not because details a third way to do it (so besides the SQL edit and IFD tool), but that it actually fills in the gaps for everything else you need to do such as reconfiguring Outlook clients and data migration tools etc…

You can read it at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947423/

Anyone know how to manually purge existing System Jobs that are "waiting" status? I did the SQL query above but it did not seem to work for the existing system jobs. Is there some sort of process to remove these? Using Delete or Resume from the CRM website does not work. Any comments would be much appreciated.
You should not remove waiting objects. Waiting means it is sleeping and will be woken up at a later point.

I'm not into leaving reactions at blog sites, but this time I'll make an exception. Your (previous) post pointed me into the right direction, but this post contained the link that solved it all. Finally!! I did not find the IFD tool, until now. Thanks!
