I have been to southa frica twice now and have travelled the country extensivly. I'm british and my partner is south african. It is very sad to see that the black people are left in poverty and struggle to survive. I have spoken to many black people of poor and well off and all have said they are worse off under the ANC. I have also seen the crime that is carried out and it is a fact of SA that every person there have lost a family member or friend through crime. Their police are corrupt as well as the government. You have Zuma waiting in the wings to be president who has committed every crime possible. He forces closure of the police dept who are trying to prosecute him. His youth league also anounces that they will KILL for Zuma to get him to power. The ANC is desperate for BLACK POWER. I could go on, but i will not. I went there with an open mind and i reply to to his with an open mind. I have to say that at least 90% of South africans in the UK all say that they would love to go back but the crime prevents them. This can be debated forever. You cannot make a stand in SA especially being a white as you will lose your life for doing so. The white is the minority. The country will turn into another Zimbabwe if the black politicians continue in their madness. The whites built that country and deserve to protect what they built. The crime will never stop but only get worse. I have seen with my own eyes what crime has done to people there both white and black. Yes there are good black people there but unfortuently, the bad totally outnumbers this. Nothing is being done and nothing can be done. The blacks were better off under a white government and a white government is the only hope for SA who will turn this country back toa forward direction. The country needs to bring back hanging as a start to prevent crime. This is fact and certainly not racist. There are more vigilante groups now than ever as results are needed. You need a gun to protect yourself.

The fundermental point I disagree with in your justification is "Yes there are good black people there but unfortuently, the bad totally outnumbers this". I believe the good outweigh the bad, and while the ANC is desperate for power (I do not believe they care about if it is black, white or green) the fact that COPE has sprung up and is looking to take a large share of there dominance away is a sign that not only democracy is working but the population regardless of ethnic background is getting tired of the actions of corrupt leaders like Zuma. Some minor comments: "it is a fact of SA that every person there have lost a family member or friend through crime" - I do not have a friend or family lost through crime. So it's not a fact. It is a fear that I live with daily. If I live in UK I would be equally fearful of the threat of terrorist attacks like the London bus/underground bombing. Violence happens everywhere, thats the only fact. "The country will turn into another Zimbabwe if the black politicians continue in their madness" - I disagree because the basic economic climate in SA is vastly different (it would significantly more difficult). Also Zimbabwe didn't happen overnight, it took 25 years of Mugabe rule in a non-democracy for it to occur. That said I do believe that certain elements within the ANC (not specifically Zuma) could cause this. However until it starts there is no point being fearful of the potential of a bad ruler, we must live and strive. "The country needs to bring back hanging as a start to prevent crime." - I flip flop on this issue as I do not really understand capital punishment. That said I believe it has the potential to lower crime, but should it be used is another discussion. A nuke can end a war, but what is the cost of ending it that way vs. fighting it out?

There are alot of people in SA who are simply at a loss as to what to do about the appauling crimes that take place here. This is the kind of result you have when you have an appathetic state.

Just look to the murder of Lucky Dube. Very Nice. Perhaps South Africa doesn't suck but you do for not have an inkling of understanding.

How many times have you been robbed at gunpoint? How many times has your wife been raped?

If you are unable to empathise with this type of individual to some degree, wait till the day one of these things happens to you. Come back to this article and post how you feel.

The exact post with racist comments seems to have been removed. However just glancing over the site now it's clear there is still no respect for anyone other than the owner. A few quick examples (I am still too saddened to read too much on it):
"Africoon sheboon admits: blacks are a menace to society"
The fact the poll currently has the names "tarboy mbeggi; helen trille; tokolosh sexwhale; wielcop zooooma; sytril ramapoesa".

Agreed. However whining about it doesn't help. Get out on the streets and do something or shut up (the police reservists are always glad to have a new recruit).
That site lists zero constructive information at all. Even a guide to immigrating to Oz, I would view as constructive. It really is just whining on and on.

Unfortunately I do not know anything about the owner of the site, his life or any crime which may have happened to him. So saying if I can/can't empathize with is impossible.
But thats not really the point of why I think that person is an idiot, basically he could have had the worst life ever and it is still morally wrong to put a derogatory label on ANYONE. All are equal and all deserve respect, and until we all learn that (most importantly those who think of crime as a solution) the country will never be perfect.
